Parapane paracetamol is a medication used to relieve mild to moderate pain from a cold, flu, headache, toothache, joint pain, or periods of pain. Paracetamol, the active ingredient, reduces the activity of certain chemicals in the body, providing pain-relieving effects. It also helps reduce fever by increasing the loss of heat from the body.

When recommended by the doctor, parapane paracetamol can also be taken in combination with other medicines to address certain conditions. For example, it can be used together with Aspirin and Caffeine to relieve the pain associated with a migraine headache. In this case, the pain is relieved because the effect of paracetamol gets increased when used together with caffeine or aspirin.

How to Take

Make sure you follow the directions on the product label and the instructions provided by your doctor before using parapane paracetamol. As a pain medicine, it works best if used at the first sign of pain and may not work well if delayed until the symptoms have worsened. It can be taken with or without food. Do not crush, chew or dissolve it in water.

Typical Dosage

The typical recommended adult dose of parapene paracetamol is 100mg every 4-6 hours while symptoms last. Avoid taking more than 4000mg in one day. It can be used for a period of 3 days for fever and 10 days for pain. It takes about 30 minutes for the medicine to start its action.

Parapene paracetamol is also available in liquid form. If using the liquid form, measure the dose using the provided measuring spoon, cup, or dropper. Make sure you check the measurement markings carefully. After use, clean and store the measuring device to prevent incorrect dose. If recommended on the product package, shake the medicine before use.

Talk to your doctor if your condition doesn't improve. Describe if pain or fever lasts for a long time or gets worse or your headache worsens more frequently or develops again after every 2 days. If you have any kidney disease, tell your doctor. A smaller dose may be prescribed to decrease the risk of kidney problems. Smaller doses are also recommended for individuals who have liver problems.

Use in Children

Children should use only products that are meant for them. Before giving parapene paracetamol for children for your child, use the child's weight or age to find the right dose from the leaflet or product package.
